I was asked a simple question today, “Why do you want to be America’s Next Top Model?”

Well, Tyra–I want to redefine America’s view of beauty. Beauty isn’t wearing the latest fashions, having perfectly chiseled cheekbones and being a size zero. I want to reach out to every single young American young girl and tell her this. We need better role models on television, people with REAL personalities. That’s what I have to bring to the table. Modeling isn’t just a career for me, it’s my destiny–nothing can compare to the feeling I have behind the camera. It’s about knowing how to move your body, work your best moves, know what looks appealing, and express a emotion with that. I bring nothing “fake” to America such as botox, breast implants or a knockoff Gucci purse; I’m an all American natural born model. Hopefully me bringing that to the show would improve the industry in some way and affect many people along the way with my simple message.
